The princess Anne mission

The Princess Anne Mission was formed to start a new, healthy, and vibrant church community in the Princess Anne area of Virginia Beach. The Tidewater Presbytery called Jimmy Brock and his family to take the lead in this task and pastor the new church as it grows. Jimmy and Suzanne moved to Virginia Beach in November 2017 and began gathering people together into neighborhood Bible studies and sponsoring community-building events. In September 2019, the Princess Anne Mission launched Resurrection Community Church as the weekly worshiping community.

Our desire is to develop a church community that has experienced God’s love and is reflecting it to the surrounding area. We want to truly welcome and serve rich and poor alike, long-time residents and short-term transients, those who are like us and those who are different. We particularly hope to be a people who reach out to those outside the church and a space where anyone can come and meet God, regardless of their church background or lack of one. We dream that our new family will reflect the diversity of the Princess Anne area and be characterized by thorough dependence on God, genuine humility toward others, and fervent obedience to God’s word.

If you're interested in partnering with us in prayer or financial support, live in the area and might want to be part of this new church family, or just want to learn more, please get in touch!
