Events

Our mission is to connect the people of southern Virginia Beach to God and to each other through his word, person to person and neighborhood by neighborhood. Right now we're doing that through neighborhood Bible studies, youth group, prayer meetings, preview services, and various community events. Check them all out below!

NEIGHBORHOOD bible studies

Our neighborhood Bible studies are designed to be places of connection, exploration, and growth. They are welcoming to anyone, regardless of your level of Bible knowledge or spirituality. We have one Bible study on Monday evenings at 7 PM in Red Mill Farms. There is also interest in a Lago Mar Bible study. Click below to RSVP for either one and get the address and updates. If you’re interested in seeing a Bible study start in another neighborhood or context, contact Pastor Jimmy to talk more!

Three Strands Youth Group

Three Strands is our youth group for any youth who want to connect with others toward building peer relationships and to explore the Bible for themselves. We meet on Wednesdays 4:30-6:00 PM at the Brock house for fun connecting activities, snacks, and Bible discussion; click the button for more details!

Monthly prayer meetings & Dinner

We have monthly prayer meetings for those who want to ask God to build up a new church community, as well as pray for and connect with one another. These meetings take place on the 1st Saturday of each month at 4 PM at the Brock house, followed by dinner at 5:30 PM. Let Jimmy know if you want to join for either part!

Inside the mission

We’re having another “Inside the Mission” on Saturday, February 23, from 4:00-7:30 PM (including dinner) at the Brock house. This is a time for a more in-depth exploration of the Princess Anne Mission. We’ll talk in more detail about our vision, mission, values, organization, and plans. We’ll also talk about what it means to become a member of the church and the privileges and responsibilities of that. After attending, you have the option to pursue membership, but attending does not commit you to become a member.

Preview worship services

We are holding monthly preview worship services on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Next service is March 17th at the Princess Anne Rec Center at 11:15 AM, gathering with bagels and coffee and continuing with worship. All ages are welcome, noise and wiggles and all, for a one hour service of singing, prayer, and hearing from God’s Word. There will also be nursery available for ages 0-3. These preview services are opportunities to gather together to worship God and taste the future of a regularly worshiping community. It’s also an easy way to check out this new church and see if you might want to be a part of it.
