What is it?

Three Strands is our youth group for any youth (grades 6-12) who want to connect with others toward building peer relationships and to explore the Bible for themselves. We meet on Wednesdays from 4:30-6:00 PM at the Brock house for fun connecting activities, snacks, and Bible discussion, often prompted by short videos from the Bible Project.

three strands?

Ecclesiastes 4:12 says "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." (NIV)  The goal of our fall youth group is to help connect youth with each other and with God, so that they can be stronger for the challenges and growth of the teen years. We want teens to be able to explore the Bible for themselves with honest doubts and questions and to encourage them in their faith and personal relationship with God when they’re ready to embrace that for themselves.
